Neoprene glue is a fast-setting glue. After the gumming time of the glue, adhesion is instantaneous from the first contact of the membrane with the support.
The EPDM primer guarantees the vulcanization of joints and EPDM strips to assemble them into membranes and the installation of rainwater drains or roof outlets. The vulcanization of EPDM is a cold chemical reaction which welds the molecules of the two assembled elements.
The substrates and materials to be bonded must be clean and dry before applying glues, adhesives or vulcanization primer. Be sure to remove all traces of dust or moisture with the EPDM cleaner specially designed for this purpose.
